Best Mascaras: Too Faced Size Queen

Hey Everyone!
Last night I went shopping and stopped into ultra because I had a gift card from my birthday! The only thing I really needed was foundation, but since I had birthday money to spend, I though I'd splurge and shop on the expensive side of the store:) (if you know ulta, one side is drugstore products and the other side is high end products)
I like the Too Faced products, especially the eyeshadows such as the Romantic Eye palette. However I was looking at their mascaras and most of them have....interesting names...look it up;) The Size Queen mascara was not only the least inappropriate name, but the description really caught my eye.
        The product description says:
"We all know size really does matter, and this mascara proves it. Combining a dual-helix brush and curl-setting formula, Size Queen delivers magnificent, multi-dimensional, massive lashes. Short bristles coat each lash with volumizing, conditioning fibers. Long bristles stretch and lengthen for a finish that’s larger than life."

It's also been described as the perfect mascara to get you "doll-like eyes"
My Opinion:
-I agree with the description!
-The bristles may be short, but the wand is so huge that it barley makes it through the tube!
-The wand it so huge that it almost makes it hard to put on!
-It doesn't clump at all
-The size makes it harde to keep you from hitting your eyelid. Not a huge problem though. I just have to use some makeup remover!

-I noticed such a HUGE difference! Here's the proof!

By the way....it's 21 dollars. I know it's a lot, but it's probably one of my favorite mascaras.

Would you buy this mascara?

Here's my latest video! I'm actually wearing this mascara in this video!

See you soon!

An App Where You Can Find Anything You've Ever Wanted

Hey Everyone!
Yikes...I just finished my homework and I had so much tonight. It was like it would never end. I just kept scrolling through my google doc making edits until I was just like...
Source: weheartit.com
So I was like, "Okay, what do I do when I'm not being bombarded with papers and tests to study for??"
                           *Goes on phone of course*
                                   *Checks Instagram*
                                         *Checks Twitter*
                                              *Turns phone off*
                                                    *Turns phone back on*
                                                         *Checks email*
                                                              *Checks The Hunt...*

You know what the Hunt App is....Right??

If you do: Awesome! What is your username? Mine is Kimsstyle99 if you'd like to follow me! I like to solve hunts:)

If you don't: Girl. I'm going to give you a little recommendation and kindly ask you to READ THIS POST because by the end of it I'm hoping that you're in the app store downloading The Hunt App.
Warning: don't download a deer hunting game by accident. It's called the Hunt because you hunt down clothes for people you know? Here is the app logo to show you:

First I'll tell you a little about this app. The Hunt is a free app where you can "cure outfit envy" (that is their logo/motto/Idk what it's called) So for example, if you see a really cool outfit on sites like weheartit, tumblr, pinterest, insta, or even in public, just take a picture or screenshot of the outfit and post it it the hunt! Add some hashtags relating to your post and chances are someone will come across your picture and know where to buy it! They'll add a find and you can give it a "perfect" if the find is what yore looking for. Oh, and also, if you see a hunt that has been started that you want to see solved as well, hold down on the picture to follow it! If you see an outfit that someone is hunting for and you know where it's from, its really easy to post a find! When you add a find, the people can give your find a gem or an upvote. I've had this app for almost a year! Once I added a find of some shorts from Gypsy Warrior and it got 80 gems! That is 80 people who you've potentially found a pair of shorts for! Isn't this app such a great idea?

Here's a preview of what the app is sort of like!

About 2 weeks ago, I was contacted by the Hunt asking me to fill out an application to become a Hunt insider. I filled out the application and was accepted! Next thing I knew, I couldn't believe that my favorite app's official Instagram and twitter followed me!I'm very happy to have this opportunity and be a part of an app that has been so successful.

Have you downloaded it yet? Leave a comment telling me your favorite app!

BTW, here's my latest video! It's a coral spring makeup tutorial. Hope you give it a watch!

8 Reasons to Stop Using Heat on Your Hair for a Week

Hey everyone!
Recently, my hair has been just bad. There were a few problems actually. My hair wasn't just tangled, there was a HUGE knot in the back of my hair. I could cover it because it was underneath my hair, but  if i touched it I would feel like an old birds nest was weaved into my hair. Seriously bad. And it made no sense because I take care of my hair!
However, I've been growing my hair since 8th grade, so I never like getting it cut. Why would you cut your hair if you want to grow it?? Hair grows from the scalp duh...
You're probably like, "girl why are you writing this post if your hair looks like a knit scarf..?" Well I got it fixed! (without getting it chopped) It's all better now and the thing that really helped make my hair healthier was using no heat for a whole week.
So  I'll get to the point. Here are reasons not to use heat on your hair!

1. Your natural hair is what always looks best on you. A lot of people liked seeing my curly hair!

2. Too much heat can dry out your hair and when I picture what that looks like it's probably not a good look.

3. Have you ever been straightening your hair and literally see heat coming out of your hair?

4. Imagine if you touched your hair straighter while it was hot and what that would do to your skin...if it hurts your skin, it must really hurt your hair!

5. Heat damaged hair gives you split ends, flat, tangled unhealthy looking hair. I was there.

6. Going with your natural hair is just easier!

7. From a lot of websites I've heard that it damages the cuticle of your hair. First of all, I thought only your nails had cuticles. Second of all, damaged cuticles causes your hair to be unhealthy

8. Your will not be smooth if you keep using heat

What I did instead of using heat:

1. Use a deep condition to repair your hair

2. Do some heatless overnight curls so it looks like you curled your hair

3. If you need to blowdry your hair, try using the cold setting

4. Sometimes I just brush out my hair so it gets more volume

5. I also got 1 inch cut off just to get rid of the split ends

...If you really need to use heat, use a heat protectant!

I'll be posting another video soon! In the meantime, watch my last video!

Easter, Youtube Plans and What's going on

Hey guys!
Yesterday was Easter and I made the fabulous cake:
Isn't it cute?
It looked good...but it tasted okay. It was a little too dry. I should have just used a cake mix recipe. Those are the best!

Anyway, I was thinking about what videos I would be doing this month and I thought I'd share with you. Comment which idea you like the best! It'll be like a little competition:)

-Q&A (definitely doing this one, but comment some questions if you want because I haven't filmed it yet!)
- Spring Organization DIYS
-A collab video
-Spring makeup tutorial
-How to get clear-looking skin
-How to repair dry damaged hair. (because my hair isn't in the best shape right now, when I get it under control I'll do a video about it
-Spring OOTW
-Black and white Outfits lookbook

Any suggestions? Let me know!

Here's my latest video: Spring outfit ideas
And this video below is getting far more views than I thought! Should I do more like these?
Also, by 16th birthday is coming up on April 20! I'm asking for a new camera and nothing else because I know that a new camera is a really generous gift. Even if we do nothing on my birthday, I'd be SO happy if I got a new camera:) I'm asking for:

Nikon D5200 24.1 MP CMOS Digital SLR with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S DX VR NIKKOR Zoom Lens (Black)

That's the title from Amazon. It's a really good deal and OMG IT COMES WITH THE LENS I WANT!

I'm writing this post right before school and I really have to go now. See ya soon!
