Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Finale Review + Who A Really Is

Hey everyone!
If you are reading this, you're probably aware that last night was the season 5 finale of PLL, which was very anticipated because we know in this episode we would figure out who A is. We did...but we didn't...
Here's a recap of what happened:
The girls are going to jail (when they didn't do anything!) when A comes in and kidnaps them to some random place where they can't get out. The girls wake up in this house and they're like..."Uh what is this??" So they find the only open door and see a girl who looks like Alison sitting at a table. However, she is wearing a mask so you can only tell it is Alison by the blonde hair and the famous yellow tank top. But she takes off her mask, and the weirdest thing ever happens.  IT'S MONA. Isn't she dead? I thought this was so unrealistic and just a repeat of Alison's story and I was shocked but still kinda like, "u did this already stop." How is there any way she faked being dead?
Now, you'd think that Mona is still A because she's been hiding behind the secret of being dead since the summer. However, there Mona is even being controlled by A, as we see in this house where there are cameras where A can see everything that the girls are saying and doing.
Mona decides to have a prom with the girls, a specific prom that happened a few year ago in Rosewood. This is where I was like, "okokokokok WHAT" because...what is Mona thinking? If your still confused, you have to watch the episode to really figure this out. In the end, the real A shows up to the prom in a mask, of course. The girls turn off the electricity and run out of the place but they don't escape and end up in a yard with an electric fence. Great.
But who is A? Let's rewind: Before this whole prom thing, Spencer is having a dream that she is looking at the blocks with the letters in the room. The letters do not make sense, so in her head she tries to unscramble the letters. After a few tries, she makes a name out of the letter: Charles.
....So Charles is A.
When this happened I was so mad like how could A be someone we don't even know??? Did the directors just make up a random character last minute to be A? That's what I thought last night, but on Seventeen.com there was an A theory posted that proved there were clues that Charles was A. Click here to see the article. Charles is actually Alison's brother that no one knew anything about. So, we know that Charles is A, but we don't know who Charles is. I thought almost for sure it was Andrew. (Right? He's so creepy!)

What are your thoughts? I can't wait for the next season to start! What are they even going to do?

Struggles of High School...

High School.
In high school, we learn so much. And I'm not talking about what you learn in your classes, I'm talking about what you learn abut life. You learn how other people act (in good ways and bad ways) and you learn a lot about yourself- like how you react to certain situations and what kinds of things you like to do. Yes, there are good parts, but sometimes we're just like, "NOOOOOO!"
Hello, by the way.
So if you can relate to any of these things, comment below and be sure to share this with anyone who would like this!

1. People that hate you for no reason.
This is my "getting-out-of-the-car-to-go-to-school-face"
You could be the nicest person in the word...you could be freakin Beyonce, and some people will still not like you. Maybe they're jealous, or they're insecure and try to put others down to make themselves feel better, or maybe there's no reason. Some people have no idea they're even being mean. People also are stereotypical so they're closed minded to a lot of people. For example, I was standing with a group of people and they were talking about how they hate people who wear all black because "its so depressing and weird looking." I was standing right with the group wearing...all black! Head to toe all back. If wearing all black is weird, I guess I'm weird! The list could go on forever, but you just have to realize that there are extremely annoying people in this world and many of them go to your high school. BUT STILL...WHY??

2. Grades in high school mean so much that it makes you feel like you are not good enough if you get less than an A.

They make it seem like you won't get into college if you do bad on that ONE test. Isn't that a lot of pressure? It's like our grades will determine our future. Things can get really intense when it comes to grades. I hate it when people compare grades with each other and talk about how smart they are. Because I hate it when I see people trying to glance at my test (as I show in this picture) I try not to look at other people's tests.  So I'm one of those people who are really good at languages and words but is really bad with numbers...that's why math is hard for me. And it annoys me all the time when people in my class are all like, "math is so ridiculously easy, like, everyone has a 105 average." They're saying things like that while I'm studying extra for math and going to school early to review. It makes me feel stupid when Im not good at a certain subject. I get mostly A's and B's, and my parent's say that's perfect fine. But don;t you hate it when you have all that pressure on you and if you let the pressure get to you on one test it automatically means you're not succeeding?

3. Not So Serious But Still...There's always something to ruin your look. (THIS IS WHERE BOYS HAVE IT EASIER)

At school, there are usually bigger problems than what you look like. There have been so many times when I go to school feeling' cute, then one of the following happens:
-I have gym class 1st period
-Rain ruins my hair and makes it all frizzy (same with wind)
-The lighting in the bathroom makes everyone look bad.
-I'm wearing short sleeves and the temperature in the classroom is set at about 50 degrees and I'm freezing!
-I wear a sweater on the first warm day of the year.
-I bury my hands in my face in frustration and there goes the eyeliner!

4. When teachers think that you don't have a life out of school and you'd be more than happy to do a 5 page essay, few pages of math problems, a Picasso painting, and a lil science lab thrown in there...no problem!
What else can be said? Now I have no time to function like a normal human being this weekend!

Do You Want To Start Your Own Youtube Channel?

Hey Everyone,

Sorry I have not been posting lately and only posting videos, but I finally have a chance to sit down and write a new post. My spring break just started!
On Youtube,  there are so many videos titled "How To Start A Youtube Channel" or "How To Get More Subscribers" and stuff like that. These videos have helped me out a lot with my channel because we're all pretty clueless when it come to Youtube. It's not like there's a class called "Youtubing" in college. (there should be though) so instead, we learn from each other and our experiences.
But the thing that I notice when I watch one of those videos is that the people who make them usually have a lot of subscribers...probably because they followed those tips! But it wouldn't make sense for me to make one of those videos because I'm pretty new at youtube so I do not seem like someone who would know all these things!
However, I do know how to start your youtube channel and how to take the first step. This isn't about getting tons of subscribers or views, its just about setting up your channel the right way. And trust me, that's pretty important!
If you want to start a Youtube channel, here is EVERYTHING you'll need to get started!

1. Eye-Catching Channel Art
To catch the viewer's eye, you'll need some bright channel art. you can download the template I used here:
Here are some tips for making channel art:
1. Use some of your own pictures to copy and paste onto the template. If you want to take away the backgrounds like I have, if you have a Mac, take a screenshot of the picture ( hold down command, shift, and 4), click the toolbox symbol, and then click on the first symbol from the left and the option "lasso selection" will open. Click on that and you can remove the background!
2. What kind of channel do you have? Make sure that represents your channel. It's kind of like the movie poster for your channel!
3. Be creative and put in as many pictures as you can. Fill up the whole page but make sure your favorite pictures are in the front.
4. Remember that your profile picture will cover a part of the upper left corner. Just keep that in mind!
5. To add font, I use PicMonkey and play around with the colors. In my channel art, I put some black rectangles in the back and but the font over it in a neon color so it stands out.
If you have any more questions about channel art, you can email me. I'll have that at the bottom of this article.

2. Planning For Your First Video!
Film With: Whatever you have. With your future videos, you can only improve! I do not recommend that you buy a super expensive camera as soon as you start out because you might realize that you don't like having a channel. Soon I want to get a better camera because I know I'll be doing this for a long time and get a lot of use out of it. Tip: If you have an iPhone, especially the 5c which is what I have, the camera can be really clear.
Lighting: Since you might not be able to start out with top-notch quality, at least try to make it look that way. I always make videos in the morning, with the best times being around noon or before that. Even if I make a video at 2:00, it won't look as good if I film it at 10.
Audio: It's pretty easy to have good audio. I use a mini mic that works so well. People noticed then I started using a mic and it makes your voice sound a lot better! Here is the mic I use. If you can't get a mic right now, its okay. Just speak loud enough!
Let Your Parents know: If you're a teenager, its just easier that you tell your parents that you're going to start a channel. If you keep it a secret, you'll be worrying that they'll find out or they'll hear you filming.

3. Ideas For Your First Video!
Here are some ideas for your first video!
-Welcome to my channel! (This was my first video. Just talk about yourself and what you want to do on your channel)
-New Youtuber Tag (If you search it in on youtube, there are a set of questions about your new channel for you to answer)
-Anything you want! Remember this is your channel, so you do whatever you want!

4. Post Your Video and Wait!
Posting your video is pretty easy. At the top right corner of youtube, click on the upload button. Then you can either drag the video file onto the page or search for it from your computer. Then as it starts to upload, there are boxes where you type in your title, description, and hashtags. Hashtags are important because it will get more people to watch your video. Put a lot of tags, but make sure they're relevant to the topic. You also have the option to upload a custom thumbnail. I make my thumbnails the same way that I make my channel art. I also use PicMonkey.com. Once the video loads and processes, there you go! You uploaded your first video! YAY!

5. Some Final Tips
-I seriously don't even care about thumbs downs. There pretty rare though...so don't mind them.
-WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT DELETE THAT VIDEO!! I almost deleted my whole channel the night I posted my first video. You might feel scared that something bad will happen, but it will pass. You might have this feeling like "omg what did I just do" but its okay. just don't delete!!
-Don't expect like 1,000 subscribers a week. Really. You might get like 2 views and one subscriber. But don't let that stop you. You know Bethany Mota? In an interview she said that her first video got only 5 views in 5 days. But she kept going for almost 6 years to get where she is now!

This is the beginning of your youtube journey. Have fun and just remember to be yourself!
Email me if you have any questions kimberlyann1599@gmail.com
